Meet The Team
Prior to real estate I kept seeing signs saying this wasn’t the direction my life was supposed to be going. I felt like my life was meant for something bigger. Real Estate was the path that I was led to take. I enjoy getting to know people and making lasting connections. I feel that’s what this industry should be about! BoyCott Realty puts the customer first and I couldn’t ask to be a part of a greater team! I was raised to be a man of my word and if you put your word to it, you follow through with that. I have a strong desire to succeed and will do right by my family and my BoyCott Realty family. I have lived in the Gainesville area for more than thirty years and absolutely love it here! I’m one of the born and raised.
I savor the time I get to spend with my amazing wife and son. I am very much a country boy and outdoors-man. I love to hunt, fish, and golf; just about anything outdoors. I also love coaching my son and nephew in baseball. I’ve coached them the last three seasons and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world!
I am an Alachua County native and graduate of Gainesville High School. I have strong ties to Suwannee, Levy and Union counties through friends and family. Team work is important to me and I credit this to all my years of playing football with the Hurricanes. To further that mindset, I attended and graduated Fire College in 2005 and became a second-generation fire fighter with the Ocala Fire Rescue in 2006. In addition, I acquired my paramedic certificate and have thoroughly enjoyed serving the surrounding community for over 12 years.
It is my passion to help and serve others and I’m so excited to help my customers achieve their real estate dreams. I enjoy assisting sellers create the right presentation listing their homes, and I love showing buyers around the great town of Gainesville while finding their dream home. I make home selling and buying a streamlined process and an enjoyable one-as this is the biggest investment of my customers’ lives, it can still be an enjoyable experience!
I live with my lovely wife, Amanda, and two amazing step-sons, Avery and Ashton. When I’m not putting out fires or closing on homes, I compete in races, visit Disney World often, and foster kittens for the humane society.
I was born and raised right here in Alachua County. Both Gainesville and Alachua have served as my place of work and home for many years. I worked retail as I was finishing up my senior year of high school. After working a few years in sales, I switched to retail banking where I worked in lending and financial services. During my banking career I had the opportunity to further my education and I am currently working toward my Bachelor’s Degree in Business at the University of Florida. Among the different positions I’ve held in both sales and customer service, the responsibilities have varied, but one thing has remained constant, my passion for people. I found great joy in seeing people fulfill what is arguably one of their biggest financial accomplishments, buying a home. I searched for some time for a way to combine my passion for educating people and helping them achieve their dreams, until I found real estate and joined BoyCott Realty. The relationships I have built throughout my career are what I cherish most. I have been fortunate enough to turn some of my business relationships into very good friends. BoyCott Realty cares more about people than its bottom line and that is ultimately why I chose them to help fulfill my calling. I am looking forward to being a part of your journey.
Energized and ready to bring integrity and honesty to the real estate industry. I’m pleased and honored to have found and joined BoyCott Realty, where they believe in the same things and are committed to that cause. I have served honorably for eight years in the U.S. Army and have continued that service with the VA healthcare system for over a decade. I now want to take that commitment to you.
I desire to bring my knowledge to my community by helping our customers make informed decisions. In addition, I get to continue to serve my fellow veterans and their families navigate the complexities of a real estate transaction and their financing options. I want to be a positive impact on the lives of our community and helping people find their next home is a great way for me to give back.
I am a native Floridian raised in Alachua County, FL who has excelled in customer service for over 30 years. I have been a successful business owner in the restaurant industry for five years and have also managed three large boxed retail companies in my career. I have been in the real estate business for nearly a year now and love the concept of helping my home buyers and sellers in achieving their real estate goals. I am looking forward to putting my experience to work for you as your Realtor. I understand the real estate market and personally take pride in using my knowledge and personality to help match my customers with the home that is just that the right fit for them. I truly look forward to helping you in selling your home and finding that next home of your dreams. As our customer you can rest assured that you, and your family, are my top priority. I also love the fact that when listing your home with BoyCott Realty, we are able to save you thousands on commissions without sacrificing our specialized brand of customer service using our flat rate fee. #peopleoverprofit is our motto. When people are put first, you know that we are already off to a great start building honest and lasting relationships.
I truly feel that’s what business, and life, is all about.
Although I was born in Nashville, I have lived in the Gainesville area for 30 years and call it home. I graduated from Santa Fe High School and landed my first “real” job when I was drafted in the Major League Baseball draft by the Cincinnati Reds. After 5 years, my career was cut short due to injury and I was no longer able to play the kid’s game. I attended the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Economics. My purpose in life is to have a meaningful and positive impact on others. To give them the knowledge, perspective, and guidance that will empower them to achieve their vision. To create a team of like minded people who, although diverse as individuals, are fundamentally identical. Those who understand the privilege and responsibility that comes with guiding someone through one of life’s most important decisions. A platform where success is achieved by following core values that include Integrity, Respect, Empowerment, and a Relentless Commitment to Excellence. This is BoyCott Realty.
Communication and respect with people is key to creating a solid relationship, for any and all relationships! I’ve been in real estate since 1996, graduated with a BA in Human Relations, and taught relationship education for several years. I strive to set myself apart and create an experience unique to real estate. I am going to listen to your needs and we’ll discover together the best plan of action to achieve your real estate goals.
In my spare time, I like to read, watch baseball (Go Cubs!), and spend time with friends and family on game night. I also love to hunker down with some popcorn and watch movies. In another life I am sure I was a fisherman, a rock star and a novelist, maybe that’s several lives!? I’ve learned that nothing feels better than being part of, or witness to, random acts of kindness. Pay for the customer behind you sometime, and let me know how you feel!
I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. After graduating from P.K. Yonge and Santa Fe College, I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Professional and Technical Writing from the University of South Florida. I also received a Paralegal degree from Southern Career Institute. After working in these fields and living away from Gainesville for 10 years, I moved back to Gainesville to raise my kids. I love sports, music, and the beach (especially the Caribbean). I also love comedy because I love to laugh and believe laughing keeps us healthy.
As a Realtor, my focus is to help people find and create healthy homes. Prior to my career in real estate, I served for 15 years as a counselor and motivational speaker. I have spoken to and inspired women all over the country. Health and Wellness has become a priority in my life. It is important to me to not only build a successful career in the real estate industry, but to continue to inspire woman to live their healthiest lives.
